Smoking red

This weekend, I did some shopping in my new hometown! I have bought this great red jacket with golden zippers and puffed shoulders. I usually go with black or more natural colors, but this time I went for red because I thought the color was so nice and deep. I love to combine it with beige, to make it more classic or with the new red Vans I received from my boyfriend as a gift from China. I totally love them! I've bought the jacket at this cool small boutique at the Albert Cuyp market, called Choyc. They have very cool designs and the best thing; they are very low in price!

Next to that, I needed a new wallet. I already saw these great items with goathskin, but they were crazy expensive. But yesterday I found a great one on the Albert Cuyp market for only 20 euros. I love the warm brown color.
The weekend before, I was shopping in Utrecht and went to one of my favourite shops called Zapatos. Although I was looking for a wallet, of course I came home with something else. I discovered this cool bag with snake design and fringes. I like the boho look of it and the funny card that was on the bag. Original isn't it? And it is exactly how the mind of a woman works!

Lovely Indonesia

My grandmother is from Indonesia and my mother was born there and is half Indonesian and half dutch. I am partly raised with the Indonesian culture and I really love so much about it. Because I can't really explain it in words, you should really see the documentary trilogy the position among the sun, the position among the moon and the position among the stars. It just pictures everything in the Indonesian culture which I can't verbally explain. The maker has followed the every day life of an Indonesian family for twelve years. It is a beautiful portrait. I visited Indonesia two times myself and I love to show my experiences. And above all, I want to share my beautiful grandmother. Enjoy!

Sneakpeek in my new apartment

As promised, last weekend I could finally take some pictures of my new apartment. And I was lucky, it was so sunny! I love my balcony on which you can even catch sun during autumn. I am sorry it is a little bit messy but that's because my boyfriend came back this weekend from three months of studying in China! It was one of the happiest weekends in ages. Consequence was, that I was more busy with him than with organizing my room. However, I hope you'll enjoy peeking and I am open for some tips & tricks!

I am doubting the plant at the end of my bed... What do you think?
This sheepskin is so good when I walk around barefoot
I don't really like tv's, they just never fit in your interior. To adjust in better in my room, I've used another sheepskin and put the TV on that, It just fits in better this way, I think

New apartment!

Last Sunday, I moved to Amsterdam. I am so happy! I share a beautiful apartment with three other (great!) girls at the Museumplein, nearby the Rijksmuseum, Vondelpark and the PC Hooftstraat. I just finished the interior of my room and made pictures of some details. Because it is already dark when I get home, I was not able to make clear pictures of the entire room. Those will follow next weekend. For now, a sneak peek of some details in my interior. I love the two frames I found, one with a leaf and one with an image of a dragonfly. Key words of my interior? Romance, colonial and above all, vintage items mixed with modern.
