Spoiled
Spoiled. That is what I was at my birthday. The celebration of my 27th birthday was spread around three (!) days. Saturday I trew a party to all my friends, on Sunday I was with all my family and on my actual birthday last Tuesday I went for a great Italian Dinner at Peekelharing. I started with a salad with pheasant, apple, cheese and lentils and my main course was a lasagna with portobello, spinach and goat cheese. It was delicious. To share with you how sweet my friends and family are, a small gallery of birthday gifts. But most precious to me were the birthday hugs :)

Sneakpeek in my new apartment
As promised, last weekend I could finally take some pictures of my new apartment. And I was lucky, it was so sunny! I love my balcony on which you can even catch sun during autumn. I am sorry it is a little bit messy but that's because my boyfriend came back this weekend from three months of studying in China! It was one of the happiest weekends in ages. Consequence was, that I was more busy with him than with organizing my room. However, I hope you'll enjoy peeking and I am open for some tips & tricks!

| I don't really like tv's, they just never fit in your interior. To adjust in better in my room, I've used another sheepskin and put the TV on that, It just fits in better this way, I think |

New apartment!
Last Sunday, I moved to Amsterdam. I am so happy! I share a beautiful apartment with three other (great!) girls at the Museumplein, nearby the Rijksmuseum, Vondelpark and the PC Hooftstraat. I just finished the interior of my room and made pictures of some details. Because it is already dark when I get home, I was not able to make clear pictures of the entire room. Those will follow next weekend. For now, a sneak peek of some details in my interior. I love the two frames I found, one with a leaf and one with an image of a dragonfly. Key words of my interior? Romance, colonial and above all, vintage items mixed with modern.

Toos & Roos
Yesterday I was at this cute little lunchroom at the Herengracht in Amsterdam, called Toos & Roos. They have a little terrace where we could enjoy the beautiful sunny day. The menu was great with sandwiches, soups, salads and quiche. However, we were too tempted with the tapas menu. The menu included olives, chorizo, manchego cheese, Italian ham and grilled vegetables. We combined it with bread and hummus and it was delicious. Although we were pretty stuffed after that, we could not resist the sticky toffee pie. That was like heaven! A big, soft chocolate pie with warm toffee sauce on it. It was a great day!
