Today I went to the flea market in the IJhallen in Amsterdam. The IJhallen are situated in the North of Amsterdam, on the NDSM wharf. This is a former shipyard on the bank of the IJ and is a center for subculture. The NDSM wharf is also known as the "media wharf" because it houses several media organisations like Viacom (MTV Networks) and Discovery Networks. It is a very industrial and inspiring environment where the largest flea market of the Netherlands is organised once a month.
