My grandmother is from Indonesia and my mother was born there and is half Indonesian and half dutch. I am partly raised with the Indonesian culture and I really love so much about it. Because I can't really explain it in words, you should really see the documentary trilogy the
position among the sun,
the position among the moon and
the position among the stars. It just pictures everything in the Indonesian culture which I can't verbally explain. The maker has followed the every day life of an Indonesian family for twelve years. It is a beautiful portrait. I visited Indonesia two times myself and I love to show my experiences. And above all, I want to share my beautiful grandmother. Enjoy!
